Persian Fridays
Last Friday, I had the pleasure of serving a meal to the community I live insurrounded by such lovely people. Here is a review of what I served.
Gheymeh Bademjan, a classic and authentic Persian dish.
We begin with a comforting barley and chicken soup, followed by a rich lamb and eggplant stew, served with fragrant saffron rice and a fresh side salad.
To finish, enjoy Persian Love Cake, delicately flavored with rose water and cardamom and Persian Tea—a perfect sweet ending to your meal.

For more than twenty years, cooking and baking have been at the heart of how I care for my family and friends. Persian food, in particular, has always been a way for me to share warmth, tradition, and connection around the table.
This Friday offering grew naturally from that experience. Each week, I prepare a carefully selected Persian dish using traditional recipes, quality ingredients, and techniques refined over years of home cooking. These meals are not experimental—they reflect flavors and dishes I have cooked countless times and know well.
Through this blog, I’ll share weekly menus, the stories behind the dishes, and reflections from my journey of bringing authentic Persian home cooking to the community. My hope is to make it easier for you to enjoy a comforting, thoughtfully prepared meal while experiencing the richness of Persian cuisine.
